Film D). Tophill Low Bridge to Scurf Dyke (and Return) 1st.
(Vignette: Geese flying out of the "D" Resevoir at Top Hill Low).
The start is at Tophill Low Bridge (1) in autumn with the leaves falling. We continue north beside the Beverley and Barmston Drain and eventually, with Standingholme farm to our left, we approach (2) a footbridge on our left and pass a Pumping Station on our right, en route, through a gate (3), to the River Hull New Cut. We travel north along the New Cut for about 1/2. a mile before diverting west (4) along Scurf Dyke. We experience a memorable evening walking west along Scurf Dyke before returning east (5.6.) through fields to the Pump House. Having crossed the footbridge noticed earlier, we then take a backward view of the fields we have just walked (7) before returning south along the Beverley and Barmston Drain (8) to Tophill Low Bridge.
